New Virginia Saddle Club is all about the family. A nice blend of shows and trail rides, as well as informative equestrian clinics and social activities gives our members a wide variety of opportunities.

Lots of friendly folks and tons of fun. A great way to enjoy your common passion with like minded people!

With great sadness I want to let everyone know that Julie Horton's son, Philip Riemenschneider, passed away Tuesday. Philip was just 34 years old. He lived in Afton with his wife and 3 young children. Our thoughts and prayers are with Julie during this very difficult time.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 pm Thursday (today) with family present from 6 to 8 pm at Powers Funeral Home, 612 N. Dodge St., Afton. Services will be at 10:30 am Friday at Arispe United Methodist Church. A group is meeting at the Fareway in Osceola to ride to the funeral Friday.
